Opticart runs a computerised eye-testing room and a contact lens clinic alongside one of the widest frame collections in the region. Eye testing is free, repairs and fittings are done in store, and home delivery costs nothing. Our Musiri flagship on Thuraiyur Road is open nine to nine every day of the week, and our newest branch on P. H. Road in Bodinayakanur opened in September 2026.

How we work

Guidance first, selling second

Most people walk into an optical store knowing something is wrong and not much else. Our job is to work out what, explain it in language that means something, and then find the frame and lens that fit the answer.

That is why the eye test is free and always has been. If you need glasses, we would like to make them. If you do not, we will tell you so, and you can walk out with the prescription and no bill.

Everything we can do in store, we do in store: cutting and edging lenses, fitting contact lenses, soldering a snapped rim, sizing a child's frame for the third time this term. It is faster for you and it means the person who made the glasses is the person you can go back to.

The two branches

Our flagship on Thuraiyur Road in Musiri houses the computerised testing room and the contact lens clinic, and is open from 9 am to 9 pm every day of the week. In September 2026 we opened a second branch on P. H. Road in Bodinayakanur, bringing the same testing, the same collection and the same free home delivery to Bodi, Cumbum and the villages around them.

Both branches work to the same standard. A frame bought in one can be adjusted, repaired or replaced at the other.
